These beautiful Tibetan prayer boxes are hand crafted by one of the Newari Communities of Bhaktapur Nepal. After the wooden box is complete, it is then hand painted with care and attention to detail by the Buddhist community of Tamang in Kathmandu Valley. It takes a minimum of 2 days to complete one box.
Tibetan Buddhist prayer boxes are small amulet containers that can be used for jewellery, special objects or to put you own messages/prayers inside.
Each box is entirely handmade / hand painted; making it unique.
There can be minimal imperfections and slight variation in sizing and colors.
